Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has initiated a noteworthy endeavor aimed at facilitating affordable housing through the formation of an eight-member committee tasked with finalizing the parameters for the allocation of free plots. A total of Rs8.2 billion in loans has facilitated the funding of 9,015 homes, with 4,841 houses currently under construction, and 2,050 recipients having received their second loan instalments. More than 728,000 individuals have engaged with the programme’s portal.
What is “Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme 2025”?
It is a particular initiative of the Chief Minister of Punjab that is known as the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Program. - In accordance with the NADRA record, the applicant is the head of his or her beta (nucleus) family.
- According to his or her CNIC, the applicant is a permanent resident of the state of Punjab.
- While the applicant is the sole owner and possessor of a piece of property of 5 Marla or less in urban areas and land up to 10 Marla in rural areas anywhere in Punjab, on the date of online application submission, the applicant wants to build his or her house on the land.
- The applicant must not have a criminal record, which includes convictions for behaviors that are perceived to be anti-social, anti-state, or heinous, among other types of offenses.
- An applicant must not be in arrears on a loan from any financial institution, bank, or other similar establishment.
- A household with a PMT score of sixty or lower is the applicant’s household, and the applicant is registered with the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER).
